Hollington
View down Hollington Old Lane probably in the mid 1960's as the mini was my dad's.
I remember the number plate 7724RO
Alberta Road no longer exists - I think my Nan and Grandad may have lived there before they moved into a bungalow further down Hollington Old Lane.

The 1911 Census shows the Harris Family James (50), a laborour and Caroline (46) working at the laundry, living in Edward Terrace in Hollington.
Albert Harris is only 13 years old, he has 2 older brothers George Henry aged 22 and Frederick aged 18

In the 1891 the Family are living in Three Oaks in Poplar Cottage but have moved to Edward Terace by the 1901 census and later to 173 Old lane.

The 1911 Census shows Nellie Westbrook as a 7 year old living at 78 Old lane with her parents Charles (53) a jobbing gardener and Susan (47). She had 3 brothers Charles (26) , William (16) and Frederick (10)

Albert and Nelli (Bert and Meg) had 3 duaghters, Doris (Dot), Philis (Phil) and Eileen (my mum)
